The gameplay even in "vanilla" Minecraft is very interesting to a great number of players that it is confirmed by high popularity of the given "sandbox" among millions of inhabitants of the planet. However a game will become even better and more colourful if to add to it various modifications. Installation of many of them requires the special loader - ModLoader.

Instruction
1. Before installation of any additions make a backup of your game directory. In that case you will have an opportunity to restore a game in original form if installation of spendthrifts and plug-ins leads to the fact that files in its main archive will become non-working. For a backup make in any location of disk space the folder with the corresponding name and copy all documents from minecraft.jar there. If you do not know where such folder is, find path to it depending on what operating system at you.
2. In a case with Windows XP come into the starting menu, select in it a line of Run and enter % %AppData there. In the opened directory of .minecraft find bin. In this folder there is also usually required minecraft.jar. If your Windows 7, 8 or Vista, path to a game directory resembles. Only it is necessary to look for it through Users on a disk C. There in a folder with your user name open Roaming, and further perform the same operations, as with HR, since .minecraft.
3. Download an installer on ModLoader from any worthy trust of a resource. Further act as the version of Minecraft which is available for you demands. If she is rather old (1.6 or below). At first open the program archiver the folder with minecraft.jar. You can find it where it was stated above. Come also into archive with installation files for ModLoader. Arrange it on the computer screen so that it was at the same time visible also minecraft.jar directory. So it will be easier for you to perform further operations.
4. If your Minecraft is newer, than 1.6, open in a directory with a game the versions folder. There find the folder entitled by numerical designation of your version (for example, 1.7.3). Come in it into the directory of the same name which will have a .jar extension. In your case it is also minecraft.jar. Exactly there then throw files about which it is in the following step.
5. Drag from archive with ModLoader all documents which are available there in a folder with minecraft.jar. Upon completion of this process make sure that in the last there is no META-INF folder left. If it nevertheless is available, immediately delete it. Otherwise you will not manage to start a gameplay: contents of META-INF are responsible for integrity of pure modification of Minecraft, without any additional plug-ins therefore will just disconnect the last at their detection (and also a game will do much harm).
6. Now for installation of some spendthrifts just throw them in the mods folder (it will be located in a game directory). There ModLoader will already deal with them, forcing them it is correct to function. However keep in mind: not the above-stated way of installation suits for all modifications and plug-ins.
