Instruction

2. Extract the loaded file in the folder with your local server on which it will be necessary to start at first this script for debugging. If the local server at you is not installed, then use one of already configured Denwer or XAMMP packages which can be loaded on the website of developers in the form of an installer. 3. Start your local server and read the readme file which is in one archive with the guest book. If the script uses MySQL, then create the database by means of phpMyAdmin (http://localhost/phpmyadmin, the Create a DB point).
4. Make settings of files which are specified in readme. It will be necessary to specify the MySQL server, the name DB, a user name and the password. After all necessary settings are made, open the index.php file of a script in a window of the browser (http://localhost/папка_со_скриптом).
5. Check operability of the guest book, try to create records. If something does not work, and the script gives an error message, then try to find a solution on the Internet or to contact the developer of this script. As a rule, all data for communication with the programmer are specified in readme.
6. If the script completely works, then by means of the manager's FTP (it is possible to use Total Comander or CuteFTP) load your unpacked script. Do not forget to create a DB via the hosting control panel, and specify the parameters provided by a hoster in configuration files.
