The home page (English "homepage") or the homepage of the browser is URL, the address of the website which opens automatically at start of the Web browser. You start the browser and it at once passes to the website set by you by default. Conveniently, isn't that so?
Instruction
1. Let's begin with setup of the home page in the browser delivered with Windows is a standard Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) Web browser. You need to select "Start-up" on working table, to come into "Control panel", to switch to small or large icons and to find the Internet Options point. Select this item and in the appeared window in the General tab in the line "Home page" enter the address of the website which you would like to load at start of Internet Explorer. After input of the Website URL click OK.
2. Owners of the Opera browser should start the browser, click the Opera button (at the left above) and in a drop-down menu to select "Settings", the subparagraph "General settings", or to click Ctrl+F12 keyboard shortcut. In the appeared window in the General or Main tab select from the list "At start: Begin with the home page" and enter below the website address then click OK.
3. If your browser – Mozilla Firefox, start it and in the top menu select "Tools", and in the dropped-out list – "Settings …". In the appeared settings window in the Main tab select from the list "At start of Firefox: Show the home page" and enter the website address below. After that click OK.
4. And at last, users of the Google Chrome browser should start the Web browser and click an icon of a wrench which is located to the right of an address bar. In the appeared bookmark of the Main browser in the paragraph "Initial group" put a choice icon at "Open following pages" then click "Add" and in the appeared window enter the Website URL.
