Instruction
1. If you decided to test TooManyItems, at first download its installer suitable to your version of Minecraft. You will find such installation file on the different resources devoted to software products for this game loved by millions of gamers. You do not hurry to install previously any other modes (including Forge) - you can quite do without this step though it substantially will facilitate your task.
2. Open the starting menu of the computer. Find the line Run there and enter in it cmd (if you have XP) or enter such command in a search string (for Windows Vista or 7). Then gather in the % %appdata which opened a window. A huge number of folders will be displayed. Select among them that that .minecraft is entitled, and open. Delete in it .bin folder.
3. After that start Minecraft and select the option Force Updating in its menu. It is necessary for forced update of a game and installation of the new .bin folder instead of deleted - but now with necessary for installation of TooManyItems this. Open it and find minecraft.jar there. Click on an icon of this file the right key of a mouse. In the appeared list of possible actions select opening of the document through the program archiver (for example, 7Zip or WinRAR).
4. By means of the above-mentioned archiver make so that TooManyItems was open in two windows at once. One of them will treat archive with an installer mode, and another - to already available on your minecraft.jar computer. Drag all documents from the first in the second. Click OK that folders were synchronized and integrated. After that, if you still had in minecraft.jar METE.INF folder, by all means delete it. Otherwise no modifications of a game will work. By the way, in case you have already proinstallirovana any modes (at least Minecraft Forge), you do not need to execute steps, since removal of .bin.
5. If you have rather new version of Minecraft (for example, 1.7.10), and you wish to install the TooManyItems option which is coordinated with it, act a little differently. Open on the .minecraft/versions computer. Now begin to rename consistently all folders and documents in it where the numerical name of the version of a game installed at you, by adding to this name (before a point and the instruction on expansion) _TMI appears. So, 1.7.10.jar will turn in 1.7.10_TMI.jar, etc. After that open file 1.7.10_TMI.json via the text editor and the same as it was stated above, add in its ID _TMI. Now save the document and close it.
6. Open through the archiver the folder with modification of TooManyItems. Transfer all its contents to that folder in which renaming you were just engaged. Now surely delete META.INF (for the same reason that mode is specified in the previous option of installation above-mentioned). Start at yourself Minecraft with the TooManyItems profile and enjoy fully the opportunities which opened to you.
