Yandex not an exception – his programmers developed the application which gives the chance to make bookmarks in the form of graphic icons of pages and to quickly start the favourite website practically in any browser.
Instruction
1. Start double click on a desktop your program for viewing pages of the Internet. In an address bar enter the address of the page of installation of expansion "Yandex. Bar" http://bar.yandex.ru also click the ENTER key. This end-to-end solution which includes different services, since visual bookmarks and finishing with means of check of connection speed with network.
2. The page which corresponds to your browser will open. That is, to users of Internet Explorer installation of the application for this browser, and to users of Google Chrome — "Will be offered Yandex. Bar" for Chrome.
3. Press the large button with the inscription "Install". Program load will begin and the message from the operating system about danger of start of files from the Internet will appear. Click "Execute" to confirm the solution to install visual bookmarks from Yandex. When the installer completely is loaded, press Next in a program window. Click further several times in a row, on each of screens, the button will not appear yet "Is ready".
4. Close the browser of Internet pages if it was not restarted automatically. Open the browser again and you will see that you already had pictures icons of your favourite websites — setup itself will define the most often visited pages of network and will create for them bookmarks of quick start.
5. If you accidentally deleted the necessary bookmark, it is possible to cancel this operation. For this purpose click the right key of a mouse, and in the appeared menu select the Removal Canceling item. This operation will restore the last remote bookmark.
6. In the right top part of each of bookmarks (by default their nine) there is a pop-up menu of setup. Click a cross if you want to delete a bookmark. The extreme left button in the form of two roundish arrows — click it to update the miniature image of the website. Press the middle button if you want to configure the frequency of automatic update of a bookmark, or for change of the address of the page manually. Click in the form of a gear in the lower right corner for change of the background picture of bookmarks and also if you want to make not nine, and it is more or less icons for the websites.
If you decided to remove service of visual bookmarks, it is easy to delete it. However it is more convenient not to uninstall service entirely, and to turn off expansion. For the Chrome browser the sequence of actions such. At first it is necessary to come into the main menu of the browser, then to find there the Setup menu. Here it is necessary to pass into the Expansions point. There you will find the list of the installed extensions including "Visual bookmarks". Nearby you will see a removal icon in the form of a basket. Click it to delete all installed bookmarks. In the Mozilla "Visual Bookmarks" browser are removed thus. Open the browser and find in the top part the Tools point, and in it – the subparagraph of "Addition". Before you the panel of visual bookmarks which belongs to settings "Yandex should be reflected. Bar". Opposite to this point remove a tick or click on "Disconnect" (depends on the version of the browser). It is possible to select the Delete button, but in this case all bookmarks will be permanently deleted and it will become impossible to restore them.
7. The maximum quantity of possible bookmarks is not always enough for the user. By means of service "Yandex. Bar" it is possible to increase possible quantity of bookmarks to 25 pieces. It is also possible to select a desirable way of display of bookmarks and design.
8. At unsuccessful reset of the computer the visual bookmarks can fly and completely an abyss from the browser. You should not despair – very easy to restore them. For this purpose open the browser and pass into the Bookmarks menu. There you will see the Display All Bookmarks point. Click it with the left mouse button. Here will show you the section in which it is possible to manage all bookmarks of Yandex. Find the Import and Backup menu here. Select the Restore field here. Will offer you several options of recovery: through the archive copy or the direct file of Yandex. Select suitable option, and then pass into the Setup menu. Note "Display visual bookmarks when opening a new tab or window". Pass into the section "Expansions". Here in the general list you will see point "Yandex. Bar". It is possible to find visual bookmarks of Yandex in application workspace when the empty page of the browser opens. They represent a mosaic of the reduced images of pages with icons. 9. If you passed to the new browser and want to transfer visual bookmarks of Yandex there, it is not difficult to make at all. Seize the opportunity of export of these data. For this purpose come into settings and pass into the Additions point. Click the Settings of the Browser point. Find the section "User profiles" in the appeared menu, then - "Transfer bookmarks and settings from other browser". The window in which it will be possible to select the necessary browser will appear. Select all necessary settings and click "Transfer". Now all bookmarks are available also in the new browser.
10. One more way of transfer of bookmarks includes work with the HTML file. Open an empty tab of the browser and press the All Bookmarks button which you will find under the list of visual bookmarks. In the appeared window select the Arrange button. When clicking it the context menu will open. Select the Copy Bookmarks from the HTML File … item. The window of the Conductor where you can select the folder will open and specify the file from where information will be copied.
