Instruction
1. It is possible to learn the IP address in a lokalka, having opened a viewport of a status of network connection or having used the console ipconfig utility.
2. To define the IP address in properties of network connections of the Windows XP operating system, open "Control panel" and turn into category "Network and Connections to the Internet". In the opened category move to the section "Network Connections" and click with the right key of a mouse the Connection on a Local Area Network icon. In the revealed menu select the Status item and in the opened window go to the Support tab. Before you the window in which to contain the current parameters of connection on a lokalka among which there will be also an IP address used at present will be open.
3. To learn the IP address in Windows 7 or Vista, open "Control panel", turn into category "Network and Internet" in which start "Network and Sharing Center". Pass into the Change of Parameters of the Adapter window according to the link located in the left side column. In the opened window network connections among which find the necessary connection on a local area network and click it with the right mouse button will be displayed. Select in the menu item a status and in the opened window switch to the Data tab. On this tab a lot of information on the selected connection among which it is possible to find also the IP address contains.
4. You can define very quickly the IP address in a lokalka by the standard console ipconfig utility intended for setup of network interfaces which is installed by the Microsoft company in all versions of the Windows operating system.
5. The utility works in the command line for which start press the Start-up button and click a menu item "Execute". In the appeared window enter cmd and click OK. On the screen of the monitor the window of the command line will appear. The command line works in a text mode, accepting names of utilities which need to be executed, in the form of text commands. After command execution, it returns the result in the form of text strings back in a window of the command line. To learn the IP address make the ipconfig team and click Enter. Parameters of all network connections will be displayed. Among parameters for each connection its IP address will be specified.
