Instruction
1. Study metatags of the code of the considered page. As a rule, the type of the engine of the website can be stated in metatags. Usually it looks so: <meta name=" generator" content=" the Used engine">
2. Analyze the page of an input. Different engines of the websites have different paths of an input in the administrator panel. For example, on WordPress – / wp-admin, on Joomla! – / administrator, on Drupal – / login.
3. View attentively the robots.txt file. It is rather simple to recognize the website engine by directories which are prohibited to indexation. The input address in the administrator panel, and also the addresses of other system files which indexation is inexpedient most often belongs to such directories.
4. Use an online service by definition of the engine of the website which now in network a huge set. For example, pass to the website http://2ip.ru/cms/ and enter the address of the website interesting you into the line "IP address or domain". The system will check the website for existence of signs of all most known cms and the inscription "signs of use are found" opposite to that engine on which the website checked by you is made will highlight with red color.
5. Install the special Wappalyzer extension if you use the Mozilla Firefox browser. Now in an address bar in addition to an icon "Add the page to favorites" also the engine of that website on which you are will be displayed.
