tITs, or the thematic Index of Citing is a special rating of the websites which assigns points to resources depending on the sources similar in subject referring to them. The tITs model is created and is used by the search engine Yandex.
Instruction
1. By default all websites added to the search engine Yandex via the Webmasters panel have tITs =0. Having at least 10 references from the thematic websites with tITs =10, the resource automatically receives the same tITs without prejudice to donors. The mechanism of assignment of the thematic index of citing is constantly improved, and its formula constantly changes. Usually tITs of Yandex is updated 1 time in 25-40 days. The tITs value is always divided into 10 and has a similar step. It means that there are tITs 0, 10, 20, 30 levels and so on. Value of the index of citing more than 1000 are considered very high rate. The websites with high tITs are collected in special "Directory" of Yandex. The websites with the high index of citing can earn from advertizing, and the main thing, from links, referring to other websites, they give tITs to the customer of the advertizing link. The tITs of the donor is higher, the cost of placement of the direct reference on other resource is more. However, the site administrator himself installs a price, and sometimes in general can refuse providing such service as placement of paid links.
