If you like the animated elements on websites and you want to make animation on the website, but do not want to suffer with Flash, there is a simple and effective solution – the animated GIF. Creation of the animated GIF files does not require existence of skills of programming or installation of special plug-ins. GIF animation is a simple set of slides (pictures) which replace each other through a certain interval. Playing of these pictures at an interval of several milliseconds creates effect of the movement, similar to when we in the childhood drew on each page of a notepad, and then very quickly they were turned over. Start Photoshop and create the new image of 100x100 pixels in size. Set permission in 72 pixels and the RGB mode. Select the option Show Layers from Window menu item that will include display of a palette of layers. 2. In a tool palette select a pencil and draw any image. In a palette of layers click Duplicate Layer that will create the copy of already existing layer. Use the elastic band tool to erase any part of the image, then a pencil add change. In the File menu select Jump to, and then Adobe Image Ready. This action will transfer you to other graphics editor. 4. In the Window menu select the option Show Animation which will include display of a palette of animation. In the menu of settings of a palette (an arrow icon in the upper right corner) select the Make Frames from Layers function that transforms all layers to personnel. Animation is already almost ready. 5. It is time to start settings of a time interval. Select the necessary shot and in a drop-down menu (at the left, below) select the necessary interval of time through which this shot will be replaced by another. Do it with each shot of your animation. When everything is ready, use the option Save Optimized As to save your first animated GIF. Now you can use it as a banner or a decorative element on your website.
