Need for the constant (static) IP address arises at the user in need of use of the computer as the server — game or any other — or some services meaning network identification. This problem can be solved in several ways.
Instruction
1. Open the main menu of the Windows operating system for implementation of the procedure of change of the dynamic IP address on static with means of the system and select the Execute item.
2. Enter value
ipconfig/all
"Open" in the field and confirm command execution with clicking of the OK button.
3. Define and remember the following parameters:
- IP Address;
- Subnet Mask;
- Default Gateway;
- DNS Servers.
4. Return to the main menu "Start-up" and pass into the Control panel point.
5. Open the link "Network connections" and open a context menu of the current connection by click of the right mouse button.
6. Specify the Properties point and open a context menu of the Protocol Internet of TCP/IP component in the opened dialog box by click of the right mouse button.
7. Once again specify the Properties point and enter values of the connection parameters saved earlier in the respective fields of a new dialog box.
8. Confirm command execution with clicking of the OK button and reboot for application of the selected changes.
9. Use free service No-IP for performing alternative operation of change of the dynamic IP address on constant and select option No-IP Free.
10. Create the account and enter necessary personal data in the respective fields of a form.
11. Confirm activation of the created account with click-through in the received e-mail message create a new host.
12. Load and install on the computer the client program for update of the addresses in base of the selected service.
13. Start installed application and log in with the account created earlier.
14. Specify the created host and make sure of the automatic IP addresses conversion to a domain name each 5 seconds for creation of the permanent address.
