Means under the name "System recovery" is one of components of the Windows operating system. With its help it is possible to restore the previous status of the computer without loss of personal files if suddenly there were any problems in operation of the PC.
Instruction
1. Enter the main menu "Start-up", then select item under the name "Standard", pass into a submenu in "Office" and click on point with the inscription "System recovery". If this option is disconnected on your computer, then in the appeared window with the inscription "Whether You Want to Include System Recovery?" confirm, having clicked by the Yes button. The window with the inscription "Removal of a System" will appear. Remove a marker with "Turn off system recovery on all disks" in a tab under the name "System recovery" and click on "Apply". Again from the Start menu start "System recovery".
2. Select item under the name "Create a Recovery Point" in the opened dialog box and press Next. Enter a name (you in the future identify a checkpoint from it) in the field with the inscription "Description of a Recovery Point Objective". Flowing date and time will be added to a point of rollback automatically. Click on "Create", then wait for that moment after which the system will create a rollback point. Press the Close button. To be sure that the recovery point is created correctly, open the same window, then select item with the inscription "Recovery of Earlier Status of the Computer", click on "Further". In the calendar the date of creation of a checkpoint will be on the left side celebrated, and on the right side there will be its name and time of creation. If you are not going to do system recovery at once, close a window.
3. If you after creation of a point of rollback want to turn off system recovery again, then in the left part of a window click a line link under the name "System Recovery Parameters". The Properties of a System window will open automatically. On a desktop click on a label "My computer", then select "Properties". Return a marker in the field under the name "Turn Off System Recovery on All Disks", click on "Apply". After that the rollback points created on the computer will be deleted, and system recovery is turned off.
