The social network "VKontakte" had function of adding of the animated images as an avatar of the user or community earlier. Over time the given function ceased to exist, however the possibility of loading of the animated images was saved.

Instruction
1. Pass to the menu of editing the image of your page on social network "VKontakte". For this purpose open loading of the new image under the menu of an avatar of the user. You on the screen will have a menu of loading of the image, select the animation picture from the hard drive and load it by means of the overview button, previously having specified path to it in yours the computer.
2. Wait for the end of copying of the file on the server of social network then configure the reduced copy of your avatar. Pay attention. that all loaded by you animation will have a static appearance. The same treats those cases when you need to set animation as the profile image of community or the public page. Loading of an avatar happens via the control panel of the page. This action is available only to administration of a public.
3. If you want to upload the animated image to the site of social network "VKontakte", use a menu item "Documents" which supports loading of files of the most known formats. For this purpose activate this menu for your profile on the panel of settings, having installed a tick opposite to it. After that in the left side bar the additional menu item with the corresponding name should appear.
4. Pass to the Documents menu and click adding of a new position then through the overview of files of your computer specify path to your animated picture. Load it on the server then specify parameters of privacy of the document if you want to send it to a certain user.
5. In the field of editing the message select adding of a new element and select the Document item. Attach your image and click sending it for your interlocutor. In all other cases the loading of files in the GIF format will be executed as the normal image.
