Creation of backup copies of all files storing important information is the recommended action in the Microsoft Windows operating system. And first of all it concerns the Outlook application containing personal data of the user.

It is required to you

Instruction

1. Start the Outlook application and open the File menu of a top panel of tools of a window of the program.

2. Specify the Import and Export … point and choose the Export to the File command in the opened window of the Master of Import and Export tool.

3. Specify the File of Personal Folders (.pst) point in the Create the File of the Following Type list and press Next.

4. Apply a checkbox in the field "Include the enclosed folders" in a new dialog box of the master and click "Selection" for definition of the necessary subfolders.

5. Press Next and determine desirable parameters of selection of letters in the opened dialog box.

6. Press the OK button for confirmation of the choice and execute the next clicking of Next in the master's window.

7. Apply a checkbox in the field "Replace duplicates when exporting" in the following dialog box and press the Browse button.

8. Specify the selected place of saving the created backup copy and enter value of a name in the respective field.

9. Confirm the choice with clicking of the OK button and complete the work of the master by means of the button "Is ready".

10. Return to the File menu of a top panel of a main window of the Outlook program and select the Import and Export … item.

11. Specify the Import from Other Program or the File command in again opened window of the Master of Import and Export tool and press Next.

12. Select the File of Personal Folders (.pst) item in the Select a File Type for Import list of a new dialog box and press Next.

13. Apply a checkbox in the field "Replace duplicates when importing" in the following window of the master and press the Browse button.

14. Specify the folder of the backup copy saved earlier in a drop-down list of a new dialog box by doubleclick of a mouse and click "Open".

15. Execute clicking of the button "Is ready" for confirmation of command execution and apply a checkbox in the field "Include the enclosed folders" the last dialog box of the master.

16. Click "Is ready" for confirmation of application of the selected changes.
