If at office or the house there is a computer network, then to provide with Internet connection all computers it is networks optional to establish connection on each of them. The Widows XP system allows to organize the general access to Internet network to all computers of network, at the same time connection is configured only on one of them.
Instruction
1. For the organization of the general access through which on the computer the Internet connection will be carried out it is necessary to configure two network connections. The first is configured at connection of the network interface card, it connects the machine with other computers of a local area network. The second connection connects a local area network with Internet network on means of the modem.
Setup of the general access to Internet network for the available network connection.
Open "Control panel" and click "Network connections". In the opened window select local connection, in the Typical Network Tasks window select the Change Connection Setup item. Select In the addition tab and install the Allow Other Net Surfers to Use Connection to the Internet of This Computer check mark.
2. If at connections in the local area network the dialing is required, then install the Install a Call on Demand check mark.
3. Pass into the Connection of a Home Network group. In the General Access to Connection of the Internet area select the network interface card for connection to a local area network.
4. Now it is necessary to configure computers of network for work with the general access.
Start the Internet Explorer program and open the Internet Options window. Select the Connections tab and install the Never to Use check mark. Click "LAN Setup …", remove all ticks a settings window. On it setup is complete.
