The standard of the new paragraph in a markup language of HTML does not exist. However ways of creation of the new paragraph or an indent for Internet pages after all are. Make the new paragraph on HTML not and it is difficult – this problem has several ways of the solution.
Instruction
1. The first way – the most available and simple. It violates the rules HTML a little, but it does not influence optimization and indexation of pages and also display of the text in browsers in any way. Use the “& nbsp tag;" (without quotes and a space) to create a space. For creation of the new paragraph insert this tag of 3-5 times one after another directly in the code of the page. As a result you receive an indent from several spaces. If to enter several spaces into the code of the page directly from the keyboard, only the first space will be displayed on the page therefore use of the tag – quite effective way of creation of the new paragraph.
2. The second way – masking. You can insert the text, for example, underlining it seems "____", and select the color of a font matching background color of the page. This way has one minus: at selection by the user of the paragraph or all text, he will see the characters disguised under a background. Then you can create the transparent PNG file of the necessary size or the image file JPEG uploaded by the color corresponding to a website background. In order that the image was loaded instantly, set its height equal to 1 pixel. Then insert the extended image before the text for creation of effect of the new paragraph.
3. You can use an indent of text-indent and set to it the number of the pixels counted from the beginning of a line. This way works at the websites with the stylesheet of CSS. For use of this method, enter in CSS parameter: .indent {text-indent: 20px; } after that you can add to the HTML-code tags <p class= "" indent""> the Text </p>.
4. Long volume paragraphs are hard read on screens of laptops and smartphones. Therefore, modern web designers try to use not new paragraphs, but division of paragraphs. For creation of the new paragraph use the tag <p> at the beginning and </p> at the end of the text which you want to close in the paragraph.
