1. On any of hard drives of the computer create the folder in which files for your website will be stored. Give it any name. In this folder create one more folder and call it Images – graphic elements of the website, drawings, buttons, the menu, and another will be stored in it.
2. For further correct display of all data on the Internet, write all names and headings with a roman type.
3. Come into the created folder and in the menu select a tab "Service", and then – "Properties of the folder". In the opened window go to the View tab and find the line "Hide Expansions for the Registered Types of Files" in the list. Remove a tick from this line then click OK.
4. Now, when you included display of expansions, again pass into the folder and, having clicked with the right mouse button, open a context menu in which select the Create item> the Text document". In the folder the new file of a notepad will appear. This file will become a basis for the first and the homepage of your website. As you just included expansions, the file should be displayed in the folder as "Text документ.txt".
5. Rename the text file manually – delete all name, including expansion, and change for index.htm. Confirm renaming. Open the received HTML file by means of any browser, and then in the corresponding menu of the browser open the source code of the page. Copy the seen code and insert into the index.htm file, having opened it by means of a notepad – this code will become a basis for the page, and you will build in all other parameters of the website it.
6. Find in the copied code the <title> tags </title> and enter between them the name of the website, having removed all spaces between letters and brackets of tags. Enter the keywords characterizing your website in the meta name tag.
7. Begin to fill out the homepage of the website with text content – between the <BODY> tags </BODY> enter any phrase, and then look how it looks on the page of the website, having opened the file not a notepad, but the browser. Having understood the principle of creation of the main HTML page, you will be able to master work with other tags, and then to add the website with content, to issue it and to create additional pages.
