Any laptop or the desktop computer equipped with the built-in or external wi-fi the adapter and having the Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating system if desired it is possible to turn the router into wi-fi. And to create home or the wi-fi office network, to connect to it smartofon, fotoapprat, the tablet, other laptop or the desktop PC.
It is required to you
- - the desktop computer or the laptop connected to the Internet;
- - built-in or external wi-fi adapter;
- - Windows 7 or 8 operating system.
Instruction
1. The first way. Come into the command line with the rights of the administrator and enter in it the MS Virtual WiFi netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid= "" command of"" key= "" Pass for virtual wifi"" keyUsage=persistent (quotes should not be put). Then pass into a device manager and check existence of the new adapter which will be called "The adapter of mini-port of virtual WiFi of Microsoft" or Microsoft Virtual WiFi miniport adapter.
2. Activate the new adapter. For this purpose pass into "Control panel", from it – into "Control center of networks". Find in it newly created connection with the name Wireless Network Connection 2. Again come into the command line with the rights of the administrator, make in it the netsh wlan start hostednetwork team (without quotes). After setup of the PC home network the signal, regardless of type of connection to the Internet will be able to distribute wi-fi.
3. For setup of a home network open "Control panel" and pass from it into "Network and Sharing Center". In the appeared menu select "Change of parameters of the adapter". In the opened window click on the Properties tab, then – "Access" and note the Allow Other Net Surfers to Use Connection to the Internet of This Computer point. Pass into the Connection of the Network Adapter point and select earlier created Wireless Network Connection 2 adapter.
4. The second way. Download and install the Connectify program. After installation in a tray (area of icons) find an icon of this program in a task bar and cause it doubleclick. In the opened window in the field of Wi-Fi Name think up the name of your router. In the field of Passphrase think up the password. In the field of Internet select "Wireless network connection".
5. Without closing a Connectify program window, pass into "Control center of wireless networks. Find and activate "Wireless network connection" and "Wireless network connection 2". Check whether the PC is connected to the Internet.
6. Pass to a window of the Connectify program and click Start Hotspot. At the same time on an icon of the Connectify program the red circle should be gone. In a tab with available connections check existence of the available connection to the Internet and newly created access point. Using it, it is possible to connect any devices to the PC on wi-fi technology.
