Yuzerpik or the picture of the user – an important part of design of a profile on any network resource. As a rule, it images of the small size in the jpg, png or gif format. It is possible make such picture for own blog or the account in social network by means of the editor of Photoshop.

Instruction
1. By means of the option New from the File menu create the new document in Photoshop. For this purpose in the opened settings window select a color mode of RGB from the Color Mode list. Having selected as Pixels units of measure, enter in the Width and Height fields the size of future picture of the user in pixels. This size can be learned in instructions for use of an Internet resource for design of a profile on which you do the picture.
2. One of the easiest and widespread ways to get yuzerpiky is to cut a suitable fragment from the big picture. That to make it, load into the graphics editor the file with the suitable image the option Open from the File menu.
3. Perhaps, you will need to make the initial picture of a little more accurate. For this purpose transfer it to a color mode of Lab by means of the option Lab from the Mode group of the Image menu. In a palette of channels click a mouse on Lightness channel. If in a window of the graphics editor there is no necessary palette, use the option Channels from the Window menu.
4. Use the Unsharp Mask filter to the image. Its window can be opened with the option Unsharp Mask which is in the Sharpen group of the Filter menu. Put the Amount parameter for 85%, expose the Radius parameter within one-three pixels. For Threshold put value 4. To see how the edited image in color looks, click Lab channel.
5. Select the Move Tool tool and drag with its help the edited picture in a document window with parameters of future yuzerpik. Most likely, all image in this window will not be located, but you will have an opportunity to select the fragment of the big image suitable for the picture of the user, just moving the big image and watching result.
6. If it was found out that the fragment which you are going to make the yuzerpik is more than the size of picture of the user, change the size of the source image, having used the option Free Transform from the Edit menu. For more comfortable work with a frame of transformation stretch a document window with which you work, by means of a mouse so that in this window the frame around the transformed image was visible.
7. Clamp the Shift button and reduce the picture size, having pulled for a frame corner. For application of this transformation use the Enter button.
8. For saving the picture of the user use the option Save for Web from the File menu.
