The Safari browser, similar to other modern programs of the same class, allows to open several tabs in one window. And if you accidentally closed one of them, it is optional to remember the address of the page which you in it viewed. This tab can be restored automatically.
Instruction
1. By default work with tabs in the Safari browser is turned off - pages open in separate windows as old versions of IE. If you did not include this function earlier, activate it now. For this purpose select the Setup item in the menu and pass into the section "Tabs". Check "Opens a Link in a New Tab".
2. Unlike some other browsers, the screen button for opening of a new empty tab is not provided in Safari. For its creation click the Ctrl-T keyboard shortcut. Hereinafter, if you use the keyboard of Apple, instead of Ctrl use the key designated as Cmd or Command. This reception works also in some other browsers, even where the screen button for opening of a new tab is available (for example, Opera).
3. For opening of the page according to the link in a new tab guide at it a mouse arrow, and then click its right key. There will be a context menu. Select in it the Open a Link in a New Tab item. If the mouse of Apple is used, then it for use of this reception should be multibutton, for example, Mighty Mouse. Consider that in this manipulator there is no support of simultaneous clicking of the left and right buttons. It is possible to avoid it, using a mouse Magic Mouse Apple or the manipulator of third-party vendor.
4. During the work with a single-button mouse of Apple the call of a context menu is impossible. In this case, to open the page in a new tab, bring a mouse arrow to the link, then click Ctrl then, without releasing it, click the link. The result will be similar described above.
5. There is also no button for a basket call with the tabs closed earlier (as in Opera) in Safari. Therefore if you accidentally closed a tab, immediately click Ctrl-Z, and it will appear in it. Before clicking of this key shortcut make sure that any of text entry boxes is not active, otherwise instead of recovery of a tab there will be canceling of the previous action in this field. Consider that the text in already filled fields on the tab extracted from a basket can be lost (unlike Firefox).
