Almost all programs used for creation of file archives have options of protection of access to contents by means of passwords. Some from such created by them "regime" faylokhranilishch allow to see what is in (names of files), but its extraction and from archives will require input of the password set by the creator.
Instruction
1. Start the standard manager of files of your operating system. In Windows OS it is the Conductor and it opens or double click on an icon "My computer" on a desktop, or clicking of a combination of "hot keys" of WIN + E. By means of the conductor find archive which is required to be unpacked.
2. Right-click the found file and in the dropped-out context menu select one of unpacking options. Depending on that which of archivers is installed in your system these points can differ, but each of these programs is obliged to demand password entry prior to process of extraction of files, regardless of the option selected by you in the menu.
3. Enter the password of the protected archive in the respective field of the dialogue window shown you by the archiver. As you will not see the typed text as signs for observance of conspiracy will be replaced with unreadable characters, the probability to be mistaken on the text entering above normal. It is much more reliable to copy the password (CTRL + C) and to insert into the necessary field of this dialog box (CTRL + V).
4. Click the OK button in a dialog. After that the program will verify the text entered by you with the sample stored in an office part of the file archive. It should be noted that, having even considered ("disassembled") code of the file taken to pieces, to learn the password stored there it will not turn out as at its record the algorithm of "one-sided" encoding is used. It means that it is impossible to decrypt the password, and it is only possible to encrypt in the same way the value entered by you and to check whether these two encrypted passwords will match. If check takes place successfully, then the program will extract files from archive in the place selected by you. Otherwise the archiver will show the corresponding error message and you will need to do all operation again with the specified version of the password.
