How to open wap

It is possible to browse the WAP websites as on the phone, and on the computer. It is not obligatory to resort at the same time to use of WAP access point. It is enough to use the compatible browser or to use the special emulator.

Instruction

1. Even if you are going to browse WAP website contents from phone, all the same configure access point (APN) so that it was designed for viewing the normal websites. Traffic in this case will cost considerably cheaper.

2. For an input on the WAP website with use of the built-in browser of phone, or the Opera Mini or UCWEB browser, just enter its URL into an address bar. If instead the normal version of the website is loaded, in the UCWEB settings replace the identifier of the browser with WAP UA. Remember that owners of some WAP websites signed with operators the contract for the increased tariffing of traffic when loading by the built-in browser of the device, regardless of the selected access point.

3. To pass to the WAP website by means of the normal computer with Internet access, use the Opera browser. Unlike other browsers, its "engine" (layout engine) is capable to interpret also a markup language of WML (Wireless Markup Language). Consider that if Internet access from the computer is provided through a cellular network, the overestimated tariffing of traffic at visit of some websites extends also to this way of access to them.

4. If there is no Opera browser on your computer, use one of two WAP online emulators:
http://mobilerunner.net/emu_wap3/p/wap3/;
http://tagtag.com/site/info/ttemulator.
If you selected the first of them, do not enter the WAP website address directly into an address bar - it is paid service which to you will not allow to use. Enter URL directly into a search string of the website of Google which is loaded in this emulator by default. According to the first link the website necessary to you will be available.

5. Take into consideration that many websites in addition to WAP versions have also PDA versions. They are most facilitated (there are no scripts, applets, frames), but executed in the normal HTML language. Such websites equally well open practically any browsers of modern phones and normal computers. At the same time, they give to the user slightly more opportunities, than classical WAP versions of the same resources.
