Seeking to diversify life of the users, developers of social network Facebook released the new interface of a profile with the name Timeline. It not just rebuilds events of users in a chronological order, but also offers the mass of interesting opportunities.
Instruction
1. To pass to this profile into Facebook, it is necessary to activate it. Load any web browser and enter in address the facebook.com/ about/timeline field. Find the Get key in the opened window and click it. When on the screen the welcome page appears, you will see above in the left corner two buttons – Take a tour (previously to try for 7 days) and Publish now (to involve right now). Select any of options and click on the corresponding link.
2. Your profile will change on Timeline and to complete transition to this interface, it is necessary to be engaged in its advanced settings. If you do not accept the main image of a profile or you want to add new, click with the right mouse button the photo. In the opened list of functions click necessary – (to add) Add a cover or (to change) Change cover.
3. To change any period of the life, find a chronological ruler in the right side of the page. As Timeline displays all information – a photo or the statuses – as the collage placed in vertical direction, fall below on a ruler with a year if you want to delete a photo from the distant past. For specification of events of two-day prescription, rise respectively above to the list of months. Click the necessary date and on the page all photos, applications and friends who were present during this period time will be opened. Click the handles icon in the upper right corner of an event and select the Change date function. In the same place you will see the Hide from Timeline function. Click it if you want to make this element in a profile invisible.
4. It is possible not only to change an event, but also to add – click the ruler stretched on the center of the page. You will see a form with blank cells. Enter the necessary information on an event and click Save if you want to save it in a profile.
