1. To place a banner on the website it is necessary to prepare in advance the picture which will be directly placed on a banner. Accompany it with the draft text: "Eat me" or "Click here". Flash banners have the swf format.
2. The size and weight of a banner need also to be considered before it is placed on the website. Banners, too big on weight, are long loaded that reduces overall performance of all website. Also the banner will be loaded more slowly, than other parts of the page that spoils appearance and an impression of the website. At the same time visitors can already decide to leave the page, without having seen a banner.
3. After the picture for a banner is ready, it is necessary to post it on the website. At first fill in the picture on the server. For this purpose use the rights of the administrator if your website, or acquire right of access at the owner of a resource. After placement of the picture on the server, its address will become known. It will need to be specified in the HTML-code of the page.
4. Come into the necessary section of the HTML-code to place a banner on the website. Most often banners place in a cap and a footer of the website – in this case the banner will open every time upon transition on the website.
