When your computer can be used not for designated purpose, for example, by small kids, it is necessary to introduce access restriction to the Internet including to Internet-applications. The simplest output from such situation is use of an antivirus of KIS (Kaspersky Internet Security). It also will protect from attacks to PC ports, and will not allow other users to use the Internet in your absence, and will block access to network to some programs.
Instruction
1. It should be noted that the possibility of use of the computer by children in your absence is not the only problem which can be solved by access lock to the Internet. Without your permission some programs can automatically contact network, increasing an expense of traffic and slowing down also connection speed.
2. For closing of Internet access open at first KIS. In the right top side of a window of the program you will find the reference that will move you to the Setup point.
3. Look at the left panel of the opened window – there you need the Protection point. Then enter the section "Network Screen". Then check the right panel opposite to a menu item "Include" – "The network screen". Click the Setup button.
4. The Network Screen window will appear. In it select the Rules of Filtering tab. The list of programs where it is necessary to select that which access to the Internet you want to close will open. Having selected the program, press the Add button under the list.
5. In a window "The network rule" needs to be passed into group under the name "Actions", then to select "Block" and in the Network Service list to select item which name sounds as Web Browsing. Then click on Apprx.
6. Further in a window "The network screen" select the Rules of Filtering tab. Under that program that you selected earlier, the inscription "Prohibit" will appear. Here you need to press the button Apprx.
7. Then once again click on Ok in a window of change of settings. After that the selected program will not be able to contact the Internet. Access to it for it will be closed.
