At placement of pictures on the Internet there is a need of protection of copyright as similar works place in big permission, and any user can copy the image and assign authorship. In this case it is necessary to take some actions.

1. At placement of pictures on the website pay attention to quality of images. It is the best of all to download the reduced options or copied from the original. Never send images to the moderator in the tiff, psd or raw format. Only that who on hands will have originals of pictures will be able to prove authorship.
2. Create the sign of the copyright on which there will be complete information about the author on the pictures. For this purpose it is necessary to fill the fields authour, owner, etc. Surely specify one of options of communication with you, for example, the official site or the e-mail address. In certain cases it is possible to enter number and a series of the passport.
3. Use the image of watermarks in drawings. It can be done by means of graphics editors (Adobe Photoshop) or special utilities (PhotoWaterMark, iWaterMark, etc.). As a result you will be able to add an inscription which will limit a possibility of copying on the image.
4. Set the reliable password of access from unwanted visitors of the website. It is possible to make it by means of server scripting language or regular means of the Apache Web server. At first on the server create the folder for pages and move to it all pages which are required to be protected. In this folder it is necessary to place the .htaccess file which contains instructions for the Web server. Enter to it the instruction on demand from not authorized visitor to enter a name and the password.
5. Create the empty file in any text editor and enter in it directives: AuthType Basic (the message to the server that contents of folders are provided only to the authorized visitor); AuthName ("This page is protected!"); AuthUserFile/usr/your_host/your_site/.htpasswd (path to the protected file is specified here); require valid-user (imposes requirement that the login of the visitor belonged to specific group).
