2. Get Wi-Fi the router with suitable characteristics. Connect to it computers, using network cables. For this purpose LAN (Ethernet) ports are provided in the device.

3. Insert a cable of connection with the Internet into Internet (WAN) port of the router. Turn on one of the computers or laptops connected by a cable to the device. Open the browser and enter in its address bar of the IP router.

4. Before setup of the equipment recommend to update the software version. Download the latest version of a firmware from the official site of vendor of your router. Open the Administration or Main Interface menu, specify path to the file firmware and update software.

5. Now pass to the Setup of Network or Internet Setup menu. Configure the required settings. Surely specify the data transfer protocol, the login and provider. Save changes.

6. At this stage the setup of a local area network can be considered finished. If you do not need to create wireless access point, then reboot the router.

7. If you need to get Internet access on a wireless network, then open the Wireless Network Setup or Wireless Setup menu. Think up a name (SSID) and the password (Password) for your network. Specify necessary types of safety and transfer of a wireless signal.

8. Save settings. Reboot the equipment. Connect laptops to wireless access point.
