Quiet Internet Pager or QIP is known to general public as the client of the exchange protocol of the same name for instant messages of ICQ. It differs from all others in total absence of advertizing, free of charge, speed of work and economy of traffic. Besides, there are versions of QIP supported by different platforms, beginning from Java and finishing Android.
It is required to you
- The client of QIP 2005 (Infium, 2010) installed on your computer, any ICQ account to which it is logged in.
Instruction
1. Come into QIP under the ICQ account. If you come for the first time, you will need to enter number ICQ and the password to it. Remember! The password is sensitive to the register. If you come into the Program by means of QIP 2010 or Infium to you it will be desirable to register in QIP.ru services.
2. Open a main window of QIP. By default it is caused by click of a mouse on an icon of a green floret in a tray, near hours. In the bottom of this window you will see the button (Your status) with a green floret wearing spectacles. Click it. The drop-down menu of the main statuses of ICQ including such statuses will open as ""I work"", ""Departed"", ""Is unavailable"" also others. You can use any of them depending on a situation.
3. In a main window above and more to the right of the Your Status button there is one more button which will allow you to change yours the status the picture. By analogy with the previous status, here you can select any picture in you depending on which situation are. In this point there are such statuses as: "Angry", "I think", "Love" and others. Besides, after the choice of the picture you can write to it the additional comment which other participants of ICQ will be able to read.
