Today ICQ is considered one of the most popular programs which are used for communication with interlocutors from any place in the world. To begin to communicate with the friends in the ICQ program, you should have individual number – UIN. Process of obtaining number UIN is quite simple.
Instruction
1. If on your computer the ICQ program is already installed, you can pass this step. If you for the first time face this program, to start it it is necessary to install. For this purpose download an installer of the ICQ program or any other program which uses the same protocol, as ICQ (for example, QIP, Miranda, Jimm, SIM). Then, having started an installer, follow instructions of setup. After you confirm the license agreement, the program will warn you that continuation of the ICQ installation requires the Internet connection. Therefore install the program only when the computer has stable connection to the Internet.
2. As soon as you install the program, start it. In the opened window press the Registration button. Further it is necessary to fill a registration form which contains the following fields:
• Nickname is your alias which will be used in ICQ;
• First Name – a name (it is desirable to enter your real name);
• Last Name – your surname (this field is not mandatory);
• E-mail – the e-mail address;
• Gender – a floor;
• Age – age;
• Password - in this line needs to enter your password (very easy password can lead to the fact that your login will be cracked therefore try to use capital and uppercase letters, digits);
• Confirm Password – confirmation of the password.
3. After registration you receive your own UIN which needs to be entered into a special line at program load of ICQ.
