There are two types of the IP addresses – static and dynamic. For change dynamic it is enough to switch on and off the computer, the modem or the router. And what to do if you for any reason decided to replace the static IP address?
Instruction
1. Use for a start a simple method without a program. Open a starting menu of Windows and write cmd to get access to the command line. Enter into it: ipconfig/release also click Enter. So you will reset defined settings of network. After that come into "Network" (through "Start-up" or "Control panel") and select "Properties". Click two times the subsection "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)". Put a checkbox near the Use the Following IP Address point. Enter the address necessary to you (the column "mask" will be autocompleted). Click two times OK. Select "Connection and again contact the Properties submenu in the section "Network". Open "The internet protocol (TCP/IP)" again and put a checkbox near the Receive the IP Address Automatically point. After that click two times of OK.
2. Use connection to proxy servers. You can visit the website of the proxy server and specify path to the website necessary to you in a line of the browser or use the special program (for example, ProxySwitcher). Pass the training video lesson (depending on the browser which you use), start the program and replace the IP address. For this purpose select the "live" proxy server from the list and be connected to it.
3. Download and install one of programs for change of the IP address on the computer. For example, Easy Hide IP. Press the Hide IP Now button to hide the real IP address. After that select Get A New IP to receive the new address. To return former, click Restore Real IP. Approximately by the same principle also other similar programs (InvisibleBrowsing and other anonymizers) work.
4. Pay attention: if it is recorded that you constantly independently change the static address, access to network can be blocked. For this reason for legal change of the IP address contact better the provider.
