The history of messages in the ICQ program is saved automatically and is necessary in order that the user could read the former and recover any important information.

Instruction
1. It is very simple to look at the history of messages in ICQ. For this purpose in the contact list select the user with whom you want to read correspondence, and click with the right mouse button his name. In the opened context menu select the line "Look at History". On your computer the History window in which you will find the list of all messages will open. The messages sent from you to the interlocutor will be selected red, and from the interlocutor to you – green color. The list begins with the oldest messages, the freshest correspondence is in the bottom of the list. To look at the message completely, it is enough to click it and it will open in the lower window.
2. If you do not want your messages to be saved in ICQ, or your personal correspondence can be available to someone, then can independently change settings of the program. For this purpose it is necessary to come into the ICQ menu, to select a line "History" and to find the section "Settings of History" in the opened window. After that on your computer the Parameters window in which you will be able to correct settings for history logging of messages will open or in general to cancel this function.
3. You can delete also already saved history of messages. For this purpose it is necessary to open the history of correspondence with the interlocutor, to select lines with the left mouse button and to click on the Del keyboard. You will be able to confirm removal of the text, having selected and having clicked in the opened Yes window.
