The second occurs for various reasons, and many of them do not depend on the webmaster: attack of the hacker, falling of a hosting and so on. It is the simplest to consider this process on the example of the Joomla engine and also its Akeeba Backup component.

- - computer with Internet access;
- - backup copy of the website;
- - Akeeba Backup component.
Instruction
1. It is necessary to update at first the Akeeba Backup component for what it is necessary to come into the administration panel, to check whether there are updates. If updates are, make their automatic installation. Then download from the official site of Akeeba Backup, the link to which you see below in the section "Additional Sources", Kickstart — the backup catalyst. The version select the latest. Having downloaded archive, unpack it.
2. Prepare all files for recovery of the lost website. On the computer download the last backup copy of your website. It is possible to make it, having connected to it through FTP and having followed the following link:
www/site_name/administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup/ where site_name is the address of your website.
3. Before making recovery of the website, make sure available the file of the backup having the .jpa extension and also the Kickstart folders from archive that you downloaded. Load then with the PC into a root directory of the remote website all contents of the Kickstart folder (contents, but not all folder), but the file of backup.
4. Now it is possible to restore the website. Enter www.site_name/Kickstart into an address bar of the used browser. Thumb through up to the end the web page with information on Akeeba Backup, click the link under the text. The page where it is necessary to press the big green Start button will open, without touching setup.
5. When there is a Start an Installer button, press by it, then on the following page you will see the list. Opposite to every line should stand "Yes" – make sure of it.
6. It is necessary to press the button under the name Next when you about it are asked by the fitter, and then at the end of installation to confirm removal of temporary installation files.
