The solution of a problem of recovery the IP address of the computer can be carried out by the user without attraction of the additional software of third-party vendors and will not take a lot of time.
Instruction
1. Click "Start-up" for a call of the main menu of a system and pass into the All Programs point for initiation of the procedure of recovery of the IP address.
2. Select Internet Explorer in the list of programs and start the browser.
3. Open the link "Internet Options" in the menu "Service" of a top panel of tools of an application window and go to the Connections tab of the opened dialog box.
4. Specify the necessary connection and click "Setup".
5. Select the LAN Setup button when using a dedicated line or local area network and deselect a checkbox in the field "Use the proxy server for this connection".
6. Press the OK button for command execution and confirm application of the selected changes with repeated clicking of the OK button in a window of general settings.
Use the same algorithm of actions in other browsers:
- Opera: "Tools" - "Settings" - "In addition" - "Network" - "Proxy servers";
- Mozilla Firefox: - - "Settings" - "Additional" - "Network" - "Configure" "tools" - "Manual adjustment of service of a proxy".
7. Return to the main menu "Start-up" and pass into the Execute point for start of the tool of the command line.
8. Enter command value in the Open field and press the OK button for confirmation of command execution.
9. Enter ipconfig value in a text box of the opened window of the command line and confirm the choice with clicking of a function key of Enter. This action will cause display of current settings the IP address.
10. Enter ipconfig/release value and click a function key of Enter for shutdown of Internet connection and restore it by means of introduction of the ipconfig/renew command.
11. Click the ENTER key for confirmation of execution of the command of recovery of the IP address and complete the work of the Command line tool as introduction of exit value to a text box.
12. Click the ENTER key for application of the selected changes.
