At reset of the operating system or unsuccessful update of the program the bookmarks selected by the user in the specific browser in certain cases disappear. It is possible to restore them, using some methods of saving bookmarks.
Instruction
1. At first open your working browser. Find the section "Bookmarks" in the top part of the homepage. Pass into the Show All Bookmarks submenu and click it with the mouse button. In this case it is possible to use a combination of the buttons "Ctrl + Shift + B". On the monitor the window "Library" which contains the tools showing structure of bookmarks and allowing to manage them will appear.
2. In the section "Import and Backup" click the Restore point. Here several options of the choice will be offered: recovery of bookmarks from the archive copy or recovery from your file. Enter the name of the required file. If the list of bookmarks is not reflected, click the line "Select the File", having specified path to it. Later close the page "Library". Backup of bookmarks is by default made by the program every day automatically.
3. Confirm replacement of the existing bookmarks. At this time on the monitor there will be notification that the existing bookmarks will be substituted with bookmarks from the backup copy. After the procedure you will see all necessary bookmarks from the backup copy. It is possible to look at their structure, having selected the corresponding item, or having specified path to the file.
4. Use option of recovery of visual bookmarks, having imported them from the HTML-file. For this purpose enter the section "Import and Backup" and find the line "Import from HTML". You should make placement of bookmarks in the HTML format in advance. Save the file that if necessary via it to restore the lost bookmarks. Consider that the way does not approach in case of unforeseen failures.
5. Enter the Setup menu. In the Miscellaneous point note the Show Visual Bookmarks when Opening a New Tab or Window field. Click "OK". In the opened window pass into the line "Expansions" and find a line of the addition to the program of Yandex. Bar. When the page opens, visual bookmarks will be displayed.
