The hacker attacks, spam sending and other troubles – all this is quite not new and sooner or later can concern e-mail of any person. Therefore there are different ways allowing to put the maximum protection against similar problems.

- - Internet access;
- - antivirus software;
- - reliable password.
Instruction
1. Set the password of high degree of reliability for the e-mail. The password which consists at least of ten signs and includes the digits and letters standing in different registers is considered good. Once in two-three months the password is recommended to be changed.
2. Take care that the answer to a confidential question was such which is known only to you. And it is the best of all to install an own question and the answer to it.
3. If you carry out reading mail via the web interface, turn off submission of letters in the form of HTML. View them in a simple view that the hacker could not use the XXS program allowing to steal data of your session. Secure the information, having in addition tied the cookies to the personal IP address if on a mail service there is such opportunity.
4. During viewing letters use the network screen of an antivirus. Do not download and also do not install the files which came to you by mail, – they can be infected.
5. Do not come across tricks of the phishing websites. These harmful resources completely imitate the interface of the real websites and are created only with the purpose to force users to enter personal data. It is easy to recognize a phishing site on its url which is in an address bar. It will differ with url of the real resource.
6. Transfer nobody the data from e-mail. Often swindlers, giving itself for administration of the e-mail server, carry out the bulk mailings suggesting to specify your password. You remember: the administration of mail systems will never begin to demand from you similar confidential information.
7. When opening a mailbox from the worker or not your any other computer always tick off "someone else's computer". Completing a session, click "leave". In that case on someone else's computer the files allowing to come into your box will not be saved.
