If you want to share with somebody videos, photos or, for example, programs and to send them by e-mail, there can be problems. The fact is that the majority of e-mail servers puts restriction for the size of the sent files.
Instruction
1. The mail services, most known in our country, are mail.ru, yandex.ru and rambler.ru. All these websites limit a possibility of transfer of big files via e-mail. Restriction of mail.ru service makes 30Mb on one letter, at rambler.ru and yandex.ru it is equal 20Mb.
2. It is possible to transfer the big file by e-mail in two ways.
Creation of multivolume archive. Multivolume archive is called the archive which consists of several parts (files) of the identical size, at the same time the size of a part can be specified independently during creation of archive. Thus, if to create multivolume archive with a size of Parts 20Mb, then it can be sent several letters, using any of the listed above mail services, and then to extract on other computer.
3. To create multivolume archive start the program the WinRAR archiver. Press the Add button on the toolbar. In the opened window select the Files tab, in the section "Added Files" click "Add …" and select files which need to be placed in archive.
4. Select the General tab, specify the size of parts of archive in bytes in the line "Separate into Volumes by the Size" or select this value in a drop-down list. For simplicity of the subsequent extraction of data, the archive can be made self-extracting, for this purpose install the Create SFX Archive check mark. If necessary set to it a name and press the OK button. Now files can be sent by e-mail.
5. Other way of transfer of large volumes of data – use of file exchange services. As a rule, such services allow to send files volume to several gigabyte. Some mail services, such as yandex.ru and mail.ru created own file hosting services and tied them to mail so at them, it is possible to send big files directly an e-mail.
