Any hosting provider provides to the client a personal account (control panel) where the client can change any settings, manage the domain and connect services.
Therefore the first step of a binding of the domain is logging into the personal account where all necessary information on DNS servers is without fail stored. It is necessary to find the menu item responding to the DNS setup in a personal account of new provider. In this point records of the following view will be specified:
- DNS1: ns1.myhost.ru
- DNS2: ns2.myhost.ru
These two records are given for an example and written in a general view, instead of "myhost.ru" there can be any name set by specific provider. And "ns1" and "ns2" are an abbreviation which is decrypted as "name server" and designates primary and secondary the name server. Records about DNS should be copied in the form in which they will be displayed. Then they need to be inserted into the respective fields of setup of the domain.

At registration of a domain name the user gets a personal account access to the control panel too. In this personal account it is also necessary to configure the domain. For this purpose it is required to find point which is responsible for setup of the domain in the menu and to change DNS servers to those which were provided by new provider. Therefore after a domain binding to a hosting of other provider the website some time will be unavailable. If in three days after a binding the website is still unavailable, then it is necessary to check correctness of a binding. For this purpose it is necessary to use any WHOIS service providing service in check of domain names. If check of WHOIS service shows those DNS servers which were provided by a new hoster and which were registered in settings of the domain, then the binding is executed correctly. In this case the website is unavailable because of any malfunctions which are not connected with moving on other server therefore for a solution it is necessary to contact technical support of the logger of the domain and hosting company.
