Number ICQ not always is own and if you any time used corporate number and managed to add to a contact list of the friends, then at job change you should transfer number into strange hands. How to make that when changing number you were not lost by friends, and the new user was not bothered by your contacts?
Instruction
1. First of all take care of creating to themselves new number. It can be done on the website www.icq.com or from the menu of any ICQ of the client, having selected when loading item "the Beginner? Register" (in the ICQ program) or "Create a new profile" (in the QIP program).
2. After registration of new number, copy all personal contacts in a new profile. It is not difficult to make it as on one computer it is possible to start several ICQ accounts at the same time.
3. If at you klint QIP, then select contact, right-click on it and click "Copy an account name". In a new profile click "Find/add New Contacts". Insert the copied number and click "Search", and then add the found contact to the list.
4. If you use the ICQ application, then having right-clicked on contact, select "Profile" and copy number of contact. Then in a new profile open "Menu" - "Add contact", insert number and click search. After the contact is found, click "Add".
5. Send to all contacts the message that you replaced number and that on old you should not disturb you. After that, having selected personal contacts in the list, click at first "Delete itself from the contact list", and then "Delete contact from the list".
6. Now you can transfer to the new owner number ICQ and the password, without being afraid that any of your friends will lose you or will send to you the message not to that number.
