The knowing web programmers before transferring the website to the Internet on a hosting, at first create it on a local disk of the computer. Such way saves time spent on creation of the website.
Instruction
1. After you collected the blog on a local disk of the computer by means of Denver, tested its working capacity, made sure that everything works normally, transfer it to a hosting.
2. Contact the hoster, find out a server configuration, ideally it should be such: apache+mod_rewrite, php 5.1.0 with the extensions GD, iconv, mbstrings, mysql 5. If something from the list is absent, ask a hoster to install it if he refuses, then change a hosting.
3. Pass into phpmyAdmin of your hosting, create the new database, having entered the login, the password, a database name (sometimes the database is already created on a hosting, in this case the necessary data in the control panel will be provided to you).
4. Create the file of the database which costs at you on Denver: open phpmyAdmin, select the Export tab, export the database on the computer (for example, mysql.sql).
5. Upload all files of your blog (from folder/www) in a root folder of your hosting: come through FTP into a root folder and upload files on one. Or via the control panel come into File-manager and load all files of the blog archive which will automatically be unpacked subsequently.
6. Install to the necessary folders of the right of CHMOD, recommended by vendor of a blogging engine.
7. Come into phpmyAdmin via the control panel of your hosting, select the Import tab. Select earlier imported file of the database on your computer, load it. Set the necessary coding (usually it is UTF-8, or cp1251 – Windows encoding).
8. In the config.inc.php file change settings of connection to the database, usually it looks so: $ _CFG [’db_host’] = ’localhost’, $ _CFG [’db_base’] = 'imya_baza', $ _CFG [’db_user’] = 'imya_polzovatel', $ _CFG [’db_pass’] = 'parol_baza'. In the respective fields enter those data which were provided to you by a hosting, or those which you specified.
9. Pass to the address of your blog, everything should earn.
