Sometimes the webmaster is used for creation of the websites by the editors installed on local machines. They it is more convenient, than the editors who are built in the web interface, but do not provide automatic saving the created pages on the server. It should be carried out manually.
Instruction
1. Enter on the web interface of the hosting used by you, using the user name and the password given you at registration on it. Find the reference "Loading of Files" or similar then pass according to it. If during work on file set for the website you created any folders, organize similar folder structure and on the server. For this purpose use the web interface button under the name "Create the Folder".
2. If it is a little files, transfer them to the server on one. For this purpose at first pass on the web interface into the folder where the file should be located, and then press the Browse button. In the appeared window select the local folder, and in it the file. Click "Ok", and the window will disappear. Now click "Load". Repeat these actions until on the server the full copy of local file set for the website does not turn out.
3. With a large number of files it is more rational to load them not on one, and at the same time. Some hosting providers give use opportunity for this Flash-loader. In order that it started working, install Flash Player (if it it was not made earlier). Click Multizagruzka, "Flash-loading" or similar. Select a mouse those files which you wish to load, click "Ok", and their loading will begin automatically.
4. Other way of loading of at the same time large number of folders consists in their archiving. In the beginning make sure that the hosting gives such opportunity. Find the reference under the name "Multiple Loading in the form of Archive" or similar. Remember that if to try to load archive as the normal file, then it will be stored on the server unchanged. Create archive of such format which is supported by the server, for example, of ZIP. Folder structure in it should repeat in accuracy the structure wished them on the server. Previously having made sure that you are in the section of the web interface intended for loading of archives, but not separate files press the Browse button, select the file with archive, click "Ok", and then - "Load".
5. In addition to the web interface, for single or multiple loading of files it is possible to use the FTP protocol. Consider that the browser is only capable to download files from FTP servers, but not to load them there therefore the program called by the FTP client will be required. Also function of the FTP client supplied some file managers, for example, of Midnight Commander and FAR. In the beginning learn whether such way of loading is supported by the hosting used by you. Then, using the menu item intended for connection with such server (its arrangement depends on what you use the program), enter the remote folder under given you at registration by a user name and the password. Copy files on the server, maintaining folder structure. In file managers with function of the FTP client the remote folders look the same as local. Then do not forget to disconnect with the server.
