How to turn off a standalone mode of the Internet

Shutdown of a standalone mode of work of Internet Explorer can be executed by several methods depending on computer literacy of the user, the access level to resources of the computer and the other entering circumstances. Automatic transition of the browser to a standalone mode can become the main reason for need of performing similar operation.

Instruction

1. Open the File menu of a top panel of tools of an application window of Internet Explorer and deselect a checkbox in the field "Work independently".

2. Pass "Service" into point and open the link "Internet Options" for alternative performing operation of shutdown of a standalone mode of operation of the browser.

3. Go to the Connections tab of the opened dialog box and apply a checkbox in the field "Never to use the switched connections".

4. Click "Setup of Network" and deselect checkboxes on all fields of the opened Setup of Parameters of a Local Area Network dialog box.

5. Press the OK button for command execution and confirm the choice with repeated clicking of the OK button in a request window.

8. Enter regedit value in the Open field and press the OK button for confirmation of start of the Editor of the Register tool.

9. Open a branch of the register of HKEY+CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings and select or create the line DWORD GlobalUserOffline parameter.

10. Enter value of the selected parameter: 00000000 also complete the work of the Editor of the Register utility.

11. Reboot for application of the selected changes.
