Execution of update of the Dr.Web antivirus software on the computer which does not have Internet access is quite feasible provided that at least one computer in the organization using an antivirus is connected to the Internet. This operation will demand certain computer skills and presence of administrator access to computer resources at the user.
Instruction
1. Create directory c on any disk: / drweb for initiation of process of creation of a mirror.
2. Create the c:\drweb\drwebupdate directory.
3. Find files of the directory of an antivirus DrWebUpW.exe, drweb32.key and update.drl which are located at: x:\Program Files\DrWeb also copy them in the c:\drweb directory.
4. Click "Start-up" for a call of the main menu of a system and pass into the Execute point for start of the Command line tool.
5. Enter value
C:\drweb\DrWebUpW.exe/GO/UA/DIR:c:\drweb\drwebupdate/rp+c:\drweb\drwebupw.log
"Open" in the field and press the OK button for start of the utility of the DrWebUpW.exe update.
6. Create the copy of contents of the created directory on the removable medium and turn off self-defense of an antivirus (for the separate computer (OSPK).
7. Click "Start-up" for vspjdf the main menu of a system and pass into the Execute point for start of the Editor of the Register tool (for the separate computer (OSPK).
8. Enter regedit value in the Open field and press the OK button (for the separate computer (OSPK).
9. Open a register branch
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IDAVLab\DrWebUpdate\Settings
also change value of the UpdateUrl key to I:\drwebupdate (for the separate computer (OSPK).
10. Close "The editor of the register" and include self-defense of an antivirus (for the separate computer (OSPK).
11. Use the mirror created earlier for update of an antivirus on all computers of network in which only one computer has access to the network the Internet.
12. Open access to the c:\drweb\drwebupdate folder to networks with the Only Reading attribute (for the computers connected to the Intranet network).
13. Specify a mirror folder path on other computers of network in settings of the utility of the DrWebUp.exe. update and change the user on behalf of whom the task for update in the scheduler of Windows on the local administrator of the configured computer is started (for the computers connected to the Intranet network).
14. Save the changed settings (for the computers connected to the Intranet network).
15. Return to the main menu "Start-up" and pass into the Execute point for start of the Command line tool for execution of update of an antivirus without change of settings in the register.
16. Enter value
C:\Program Files\DrWeb\DrWebUpW.exe/GO/URL: I:\drwebUpdate, where
I:\drwebUpdare - the folder on the removable medium where all files from the directory mirror are copied, and C:\Program Files\DrWeb - the folder where the antivirus is installed.
