Creation of the personal website always includes loading of content on the website, equipment by its necessary information, and respectively, some beginning webmasters meet difficulties with data loading. It is easy to post online pages of the website, especially if you begin with a free hosting. Select the hosting meeting in all respects your requirements and also prepare pages and files on the computer which you are going to load for the server.
Instruction
1. Register the domain of the second or third level and receive the address of the personal page, look through the web interface of a system, and then download and install the program for downloading files to the Web server.
2. Use for this purpose the convenient manager of CuteFTP Pro. The program allows to download quickly and qualitatively pages to the website, and, thanks to the availability and high-speed performance, is used by various webmasters.
3. Open the program and, having selected the subsection New> FTP site in the File menu, create new FTP connection. The window in which you will see several tabs will open. For editing use only the first General tab.
4. In the General tab edit values of several parameters. Under the inscription Login Metod set Normal value; in the Label field specify the name of connection which can be any. In the field of Host Adress enter a domain name of the website and the password of the following view: ftp://yoursite.hosting.ru:ваш This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., where hosting.ru – the address of your hosting in the domain of the third level, and yoursite – a domain name of the website. Instead of the line "your password" enter the password to a hosting without spaces.
5. In the field of User Name enter the name and the domain of the website. In the Password field specify the password without spaces again. Leave a line of comments blank. Click OK to create ready connection. Double click on a connection name to start it and to connect the program to the server.
6. When connection is established, pay attention to two parts of a window of the program – in the top part all files and folders which are available on the server will be displayed, and in lower you will see information on loading of new files.
7. Having connected to the server for the first time, you will see an empty root folder of your website. Copy the prepared files and pages of the website on the computer, and then insert into the CuteFTP Pro window. Wait for the end of downloading files to the server.
