When the website is mentioned in the Internet, the link to it is inserted into the text by means of tags and when on physical media - the address is applied directly on them.

1. Mentioning the website in the text located on other resource use such design in the HTML language: <a href=http://site.domain/> the Textbook on photography of cats </a>. In this case the name of the website will be highlighted in the color, and in some browsers - is also underlined. At present of a mouse arrow to it in the lower left corner of the browser the address will be highlighted and if to click the link, there will be a transition on it - depending on settings of the browser, in the same or other tab.
2. It is possible to make also that, in addition to the name of the website, in the text also its URL was displayed, even when the mouse arrow to it is not brought. For this purpose use other design:

3. If you do not wish that when clicking the link there was a transition according to it, do without use of HTML tags in general, for example, so:

To follow such link, the user should select it, to copy in the buffer, and then to place manually in an address bar of the browser.
4. On the business card or the advertizing material at the mention of the name of the website to use combinations of http:// characters and ""www"." it is optional. It is only appropriate to mention the second of them if the server is configured in such a way that without it the website does not open. Select, it is better for them of options to use:

Consider that when entering the address without combination of http:// characters it is automatically added to an address bar by the browser.
5. If the website is located on the domain. The Russian Federation, its address will better look without combinations of http:// characters or "" .www"". At the same time, it it is possible to write on the advertizing material in capital letters, for example:

Some browsers (in particular, UC) do not perceive the Cyrillic domain names. For compatibility with them specify by a number of URL of the same resource on a "Latin" top-level domain.
