The Internet surfing even for experienced users is full of dangers and surprises in the form of various malicious applications. These programs change contents of the hosts file and register the addresses of third-party DNS servers in properties of the internet protocol. To edit this file, click PKM in the lower right corner of the screen and click the left button the Command Line (Administrator) point. In the opened window enter the С:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts command

Click PKM on an icon of network on the Desktop or in a tray (screen lower right corner). If you installed Windows XP, click the left button the Properties point, then click PKM the Connection on a Local Area Network icon. Again select "Properties" and in a new window click "The internet protocol (TCP/IP)". Click "Properties" and specify in a new window "Receive the DNS server address automatically". Click OK.

For versions of Windows 7 and select "Network and Sharing Center" above, then click on the link in the right part of a window. It can be called differently: "Connection on a local area network", "Wireless connection" or somehow still. In a new window click "Properties" and select in the Internet Protocol of Version 4 list. Again click "Properties" and specify "Receive the DNS server address automatically". Confirm OK.

Be attentive when downloading files from unfamiliar resources. If when downloading music, the book or movie you found the executable file (extension .exe, .com) or an installer, then with high probability you loaded a virus on the computer. Do not try to start it better.
