The buyers who made the transaction with online store get under protection of point on remote trade of the Consumer Protection Law. It means that it is possible to return not only the damaged or defective goods but also which did not approach in some parameters or in general without any reason.
Purchases in online stores attract with the low prices, in comparison with shops in offline. But the main benefit consists even not in it. Not suitable goods can be returned to online store regardless of the fact that you got. According to the Consumer Protection Law, there is a defined list of goods which are not subject to return. But it does not concern purchases online.
As when it is possible to return
Buying something online, you remember that within a week after receiving goods you have the right to return it to shop, without explaining the reasons. You can not tell the seller what was not pleasant to you. Also it is not important at all that specifically you got. It can be both a difficult technique, and household appliances, and even underwear.
And it is possible to refuse goods, even without having received it yet. That is during delivery. For example, if you suddenly changed the mind. For this purpose it is necessary to notify online store on the solution. It is necessary to refer at the same time to the Consumer Protection Law, point on remote trade. As it regulates the rights of buyers of online stores.
That purchase could be returned, it is necessary to consider some features:
- the thing should be presentation;
- packaging from it should be unchanged (for example, the integrity of a box and what was enclosed in it for protection of fragile goods is saved);
- all labels should be on the place;
- all factory seals should be on the places.
The fundamental difference of return of goods to normal shop and online store – in the latter case is not required the check. For example, you paid goods from the cash card or through electronic payment service provider. All data on payment of purchase from you already are. The check in addition is not required.
How to return goods to online store
Having received purchase from online store, you can return it to the seller. For this purpose it is necessary to fill a return form which should be attached to purchase. The seller (shop) is obliged to specify the rights of the buyer for return in it. Namely:
- address of shop (that is its real office in offline);
- the time in which the goods can be returned (not less than 7 days from the moment of delivery);
- terms in which means for purchase will be compensated;
- information on in what view there have to be goods that return could be carried out (point on labels and seals, integrity of the package);
- operation mode of shop, its contact information.
If at least one point it will not be described in the form of return, or that form in general is absent in a parcel, it is considered that the seller did not provide all information on goods. What does it give to the buyer? The term of return of purchase increases up to three months. Purchase delivery back to the seller is paid by the buyer, but the shop is obliged to compensate these means if the return is not specified in its charter. You just pay delivery of the purchase to shop, having enclosed the completed act of return in a parcel, and wait for a refund.
It is impossible to return without strong reasons to online store only the things custom-made. If they do not approach in parameters (for example, the ordered color differs from real), it is possible to return purchase as there is a fact of breach of contract of purchase.
The shop should compensate money for the returned goods within 10 days from the moment of signing of a form of return by both parties. That is you and seller. It is recommended to save the checks and other documents confirming that not suitable thing was sent by you back to shop.
