Facebook is the largest social network in the world – it is expected that by the end of 2012 the number of its users will pass for one billion people. Founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, it is a model example of successful implementation of large online project. However recently at the company, serious difficulties were outlined.
In the summer of 2012 top managers one by one began to leave Facebook. In May for the sake of work in Pinterest social network left the Shnit Barry PR-director company, in July the technical director of the company Bret Taylor resigned. At last, at the beginning of August leaving Facebook was announced by three more top managers who were responsible for marketing and work with partners of social network. All left reported that they will work on own projects.
Why top managers leave Facebook? Dismissal of specialists begins to remind flight from the sinking ship. Troubles at Facebook began after very unsuccessful placement of shares of the company which go down in price all the time. If at first their cost was 38 dollars, then by the end of July, 2012 fell lower than 21 dollars. In addition, the company is accused of "turning" of clicks on advertisements that forces advertisers to spread Facebook illegally, according to them, the earned money.
Nevertheless, it is hardly worth connecting departure of staff of Facebook with difficulties which the company faced. Mark Zuckerberg's child it is so big and is significant what it is not necessary to speak about its crash or prerequisites to it simply. Dismissal of top managers speaks simply – someone was enticed in other developing companies good salaries and the prospects of career development, someone is going to develop own projects.
Not too healthy atmosphere in the companies used by it not always correct methods of market fight could become one more reason of departure of specialists from Facebook. In particular, as one of the leading software developers Dalton Caldwell said in the blog, Zuckerberg's team in literal sense blackmailed him, demanding to sell them its new application, the direct competitor of App Store, in case of failure threatening to destroy its business. The similar attitude towards them was declared also by some other software developers. Therefore it is absolutely no wonder that a part of the specialists who are not interested in scandals and excess problems at all decided to leave Facebook for the sake of interesting work in own projects or in other perspective companies.
