The main meaning of such food - it is impossible to mix proteins and carbohydrates. That is for one meal we eat proteinaceous food, and during another food which is rich with carbohydrates. On the basis of the principle of division of food the experts made a set of diets which are very popular now.
In the basis of this kind of food the statement lies that if in a stomach incompatible products meet, then their digestion will be complicated. There is it because processing of carbohydrates requires the alkaline environment, and for the proteolysis – sour.
All products if to follow the idea of separate food, divide into three groups:
- neutral (fruit, a fresh vegetables, mushrooms, nuts, dried fruits, greens, cream, butter, cottage cheese of the increased fat content, sour cream, animal fats);
- proteinaceous (bean, nuts, soy, low-fat dairy products, eggs, fish, meat);
- carbohydrate starchy (sweet fruit, potatoes, rice, pasta, grain, bread)
Proteins aren't combined with carbohydrates. And products from neutral group are combined with all others.
Principles of separate food
We don't use two types of proteins in one step of food. Vegetables approach any proteins and carbohydrates. Fats and proteins aren't combined. We don't mix a squirrel with starchy. Fruit, berries and nuts are well combined among themselves. We use the same product no more than three times in a week. We don't mix proteins and sour fruit. We don't mix a melon and watermelon with other products.
