One of available ways of preservation of plums is pickling. Such snack perfectly will approach meat dishes, salads and will become decoration of a holiday table.

Marinated plums without sterilization

It will be required:

  • 2 kg of plum;
  • 2 l of water;
  • 150 ml of vinegar;
  • 320 g of sugar;
  • 8-10 butonchik of a carnation;
  • 3-4 peas of white allspice;
  • cinnamon and bay leaf (to taste).

Touch and wash up plums, having excluded too soft and spoiled. Carefully dry a towel.

For preparation of marinade fill up seasonings and sugar in a saucepan with cold water, bring to the boil and boil a couple of minutes, stirring slowly and scumming in time.

Now densely spread out plums on the prepared sterilized banks with a capacity of 1 l, fill in with just made marinade, cover with covers and leave for 15 min.

Further it is necessary to merge marinade in a saucepan again and to bring once again to the boil. To add 50 ml of vinegar to each can and to fill in with the boiling marinade. Cork with covers.

Marinated plums with sterilization

Ingredients:

  • 4 kg of plum;
  • 800 ml of water;
  • 250 ml of vinegar;
  • 300 гр. sugar;
  • 3 tsps of a carnation;
  • 5 tsps of cinnamon;
  • several peas of a black pepper (to taste).

We wash thoroughly and we dry plums. If fruits large, it is better to pierce them in 4-5 places a toothpick. We take special capacity for sterilization, we place the prepared banks with plums.

We cook marinade. We cook water with vinegar and sugar. We add some spice. We boil marinade about 3 min.

We fill in marinade in banks, we roll up covers then it is sterilized within 10 min.
