Many sweet teeth look for for themselves the tasty and simple recipe of the dessert containing as little as possible calories. However it is difficult to find something that will be not only tasty, but also useful. Fruit cake – an excellent alternative to high-calorie biscuits. Feature of such "cake" is that fruit act as "cake layers" here.

Ingredients:

  • 1 average watermelon
  • 300 g of grapes
  • 2 apples
  • Large pineapple – 1 piece.
  • Kiwi – 2 pieces.
  • It is possible to add at will any fruit

Preparation:

  • ​Хорошо wash up fruit, rub off a dry towel
  • Start creation of first "cake layer". Put watermelon on a cutting board, exactly cut off top and a bottom. Then put watermelon vertically, and begin to cut off accurately a peel so that at you the cylinder turned out. When watermelon is peeled, horizontally halve it. Two cake layers will turn out. Put one cake layer on a plate - it is a basis of our cake. 
  • The following layer will be pineapple. Remove a top and a bottom of pineapple. Put pineapple vertically, cut off a peel, giving to edges rounded shape. When fruit is peeled, cut the turned-out cylinder in half. Put one pineapple cake layer from above on water-melon. 
  • Take the remained water-melon cake layer, cut off sides to reduce it in volume, and put over pineapple. 
  • Cut a kiwi layers and, spreading layers around, decorate the top water-melon layer. Cut apple segments to decorate cake layers on each side. Add to decoration of a half of grapes, placing them between apples. 

The fruit used for decoration of cake can be fixed by toothpicks. It is possible to decorate cake with any fruit or berries on your taste. Cake layers can also be various – besides watermelon and pineapple, it is possible to take a melon as a basis, previously having removed a core. The number of cake layers can be unlimited, as well as a decor. Everything depends on your imagination and preferences.
