Fruit jelly from a melon

Fruit jelly from a melon turns out very fragrant. For its preparation it is better to take a melon of orange color, agar-agar as a gelling agent and natural vanilla. Agar-agar can be bought in specialized shops for culinary specialists.

It is required to you

  • - 1 kg of a melon;
  • - 1 lemon;
  • - 80 g of sugar;
  • - 5 pieces of cardamom;
  • - 4 h spoon of agar-agar;
  • - vanilla stick.

Instruction

1. Carefully wash out a melon, cut it in half. A tablespoon pull out seeds, cut with melon half segments, remove a peel. Cut pulp in small cubes.

2. Add to melon cubes an internal part of a quarter of a stick of vanilla, a lemon dried peel from 1 fruit and juice from a lemon half. In a mortar crush contents of seeds of cardamom, add to this melon weight. Fill up from above sugar, set aside away for 1 hour - the melon has to start up juice.

3. Place melon slices together with the formed juice in a blender bowl, crush in puree. Pour in a small pan, bring to the boil, cool, remove in the fridge for the night.

4. Next day bring to the boil fragrant melon puree again, add agar-agar, boil 5 minutes. Pour weight in a form, cool, remove already before full hardening in the fridge.

5. Get the stiffened fruit jelly from a form. That it was easier to be done, walk on edge of a form a knife edge, then turn a form on a board.

6. Cut ready fruit jelly from a melon into cubes. You store fruit jelly in the fridge.
